Sculpting & Materials Master sculptor Kamilla Amano sculpted her from clay. Next, we cast her in silicone. Pearl Mermaid Blue Silicone Reborn Doll measures 9 inches long. Furthermore, she comes with a Certificate of Authenticity. I filled her completely with soft silicone. Therefore, she requires no inner reinforcement. I use premium American Ecoflex 20. I completely handcraft this full silicone body.

Painting Techniques I painted this mermaid in my own unique style. I applied several layers of high-quality Silc Pig silicone paint. Her skin looks beautifully matte.

❗ Important Information: ❗ I airbrushed her skin to achieve this finish. Therefore, she does not feature a traditional matte powder coating.

Conversely, I used a glossy technique on her tail. I added shimmer to mimic real water. Consequently, this creates a realistic contrast between her matte skin and glossy tail.

Important Silicone Details

Artistic Imperfections I consider these dolls true works of art. You must handle them with extreme care. Remember, silicone never cures perfectly. The pouring process always creates minor defects. ❗ Therefore, silicone naturally develops inevitable flaws. ❗

Additionally, I work in a clean, pet-free environment. Nevertheless, stray dust or tiny hairs might stick in the silicone. I cannot control this.

Strict Final Sale I hand-paint every art doll myself. Factories do not make them. Consequently, they will always show slight imperfections. This represents a completely normal handmade outcome.
